Ewen Mackenzie-Bowie has a Master’s in Children’s Literature from the University of Surrey and a BA (Hons) from the University of Stirling. He has over 30 years of experience in business schools, language schools and state education, in teaching, administration, sales and marketing.
Ewen was on the Board of ITENZ for two years, was Chairman of the Board of Richmond Road School for six years and was Chairman of English New Zealand in 2015.
Ewen has had a paper on the poetry of Richard Edwards published in The Journal of Children’s Literature Studies (UK) and papers on children’s literature in the first three editions of the ICL Journal. He has published two illustrated books, Superpuffin and Superpuffin and the Dinosaurs, and had his Master’s thesis on The Wolf in Children’s Literature published by Lambert Academic Publishing in 2011.
