A Spooktacular Halloween Costume Competition

26/11/2024

The AEA Halloween Costume Competition was a thrilling success, filled with creativity, laughter, and a sense of camaraderie among our international English language students. On Friday 1st of November, students came together to celebrate the season by dressing up in their spookiest, funniest, and most imaginative costumes, adding a festive touch to the atmosphere.

The event saw a delightful mix of individual and group costumes, showcasing a wide range of ideas from classic monsters to quirky characters. Whether it was a spooky ghost, a famous superhero, or a cleverly coordinated group ensemble, the creativity on display was truly impressive.

The competition began with a popular vote where students cheered for their favourites; the winners were determined by the loudness of the cheers. The room was filled with excitement and friendly rivalry, the atmosphere was light-hearted, and the energy was infectious, with students supporting one another and sharing in the joy of the event.

At the end of the fun-filled competition, a trick-or-treat session wrapped up the celebration, ensuring everyone left with sweet memories (and maybe a few treats)! The AEA Halloween Costume Competition was a fantastic way to bring together our diverse student body for an afternoon of spooky fun, making new memories and strengthening the sense of community within our academy.

We can’t wait for next year’s competition—who knows what creative costumes will be on display next time!

Happy Halloween from AEA! 🎃👻
