Established in 1988, Auckland English Academy is one of New Zealand’s oldest English schools and is conveniently located in the vibrant heart of Auckland City, providing the complete Auckland student experience. Our students come to us from all over the world to learn English and prepare for IELTS and PTE examinations.

As members of English New Zealand, we are audited every four years. Our most recent audit was in 2022, and we are pleased to announce that we received a very complimentary report for meeting all five standards.
NZQA Category 1 Education Provider
As a registered school, we are audited to strict criteria which must be met above and beyond NZQA requirements. Being recognised as a member signifies quality standards across staff qualifications, curriculum and assessment, facilities, student support, student recruitment and management. As an NZQA-registered school, we are evaluated every four years. AEA is a Category 1 Education Provider, meaning NZQA (New Zealand Qualification Authority) is confident in our performance and our self-assessment.
