Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, an intensive 5-week course for non-native English speakers who wish to teach English to pre- and primary school-aged children in their home country.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
IELTS Academic score of 5.5 overall or equivalent performance in the ICL IEPT (Internal English Proficiency Test).
Police Check from your home country.

Theory and practice of teaching English to young learners.
How to plan a lesson.
How to teach reading, writing, listening and speaking.
How to engage young learners.
How to teach using songs, games and activities.
How to make and use teaching resources.
BE ABLE TO:
Plan an age appropriate lesson for young learners.
Use fun and engaging activities.
Work as an English language teacher or assistant English language teacher in your home country
J-SHINE
J-Shine option for Japanese Students. The students take an additional week long internship after the 5-week course.
AEA TESOL classes are from Monday to Friday
