Our Activity Calendar for June 2025 is now available.
Every month, AEA releases a calendar with daily activities such as a CBD Orientation Tour on the first Monday of the month, Talk the Talk (Idioms), Pronunciation, Songlish (Singing), and Conversation Clubs from Monday to Thursday, a tentative Friday excursion or activity planned, and our Monthly Job Club on the first Thursday of each month.
We have gathered a variety of curated activities and recommended events organised by associations and councils throughout Auckland City.
AEA encourages and recommends students to attend these external events, most of which are entry-free.
June marks the beginning of Matariki season, with celebrations running from 7 June to 13 July. To help our students engage with and appreciate this special time, we’ve curated a list of free activities organised by the council, museums, and other local organisations.
We’re also excited to host our own in-house Matariki celebration on 19 June, following the success of previous years. Where students can join to our kite and poi-making workshops, and learn traditional waiata and karakia as we honour this important Māori New Year together.
