Halloween 2019

On Thursday October 31st 2019, ICL Education Group hosted a Halloween Costume Party for the students from 12.30pm to 1.30pm in the student lounge.

Students got into costume and character for the event, and we were impressed by the effort taken to achieve some of the great outfits we saw. A huge crowd of students showed up to socialise and join the festivities. Soft drinks, snacks, and classic Halloween treats were available, as well as a selection of Halloween party games, and a photo booth.

We gave out some great prizes to the top 3 student costumes from the day!

2nd and 3rd place each received a bucket of assorted Halloween treats, and an AEA Cafe voucher. The 1st place winner of our student costume contest has received free admission to the ICL barista course worth $400!

The winners of the student prizes were:

1st: Qiuping Chen (Iris) from our General English ELE2 Afternoon

2nd: Yuan Hu – from our IELTS class (Geetha, Day Class)

3rd: Javiera Mireya Fernandez Arenas from our ELE2 Afternoon Class

Congratulations to our winners and great job with your costumes!

The students weren’t alone in dressing up however, as staff members  also got into costume, joined the event, and had their own internal competition.

We hope with the success of the Halloween Costume Party that we will continue to host more events like this on campus.

We had over a 100 students join, and over 30 feedback forms collected! If you have additional feedback for us regarding our Halloween event, we’d like to hear from you! Please submit your feedback to info@icl.ac.nz

Thank you for being part of the ICL Education Group’s Halloween party!
